Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

Traceage is a supply-chain traceability platform. It records what happened to every unit you move - batches, serial-numbered items, reusable assets - on one shared event model, so recalls, audits, and compliance reporting run from a single source of truth.
Teams that need end-to-end traceability and compliance evidence - across food, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, agriculture, and logistics. The same event model serves every industry; the workflows adapt to what you move.
No. Traceage is the software that regulated businesses - and their auditors and regulators - use to record, prove, and submit traceability. We do not write the rules or issue the certificates: Traceage is not a regulator, a standards or accreditation body, a certification body, or an auditor.
Using Traceage does not by itself make you compliant. It gives you the system of record and the audit-ready evidence to demonstrate compliance; the determination and any certification rest with you, your auditor, or your regulator.
Every organisation gets its own workspace (tenant). Data never crosses tenant boundaries - users, events, and records are scoped to the workspace they belong to.
Yes. Traceability events follow GS1 EPCIS 2.0 conventions, so your data interchanges cleanly with partners and regulators. You can export records from your workspace at any time.
No. Traceage is a cloud platform accessed through your browser. A companion mobile app is available for capturing events in the field, but the core workspace needs no installation.
